Museum After Hours: Summer Music Series

Free entry begins at 5:00 p.m.

Settle in for summer sounds at Mystic Seaport Museum! The outdoor music series returns to Schaefer’s Spouter Tavern every Friday, May 23 through August 29, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. (excluding July 4). Free entry to the Museum begins at 5:00 p.m. through the Museum’s North Entrance. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and find your spot on the lawn—seating is limited and fills quickly! Enjoy great music, good vibes, and a beautiful waterfront setting all season long.

Please note: outside alcohol is not permitted.

Summer Lineup

June 13 | Ernie Lewis

Ernie Lewis is the co-founder, lead singer, and guitarist from the band Wicked Peach. He also founded the acoustic duo group 2 Cat Zoo with each project becoming a staple on the music scene in the New London County area for over 20 years. Ernie Lewis Solo Acoustic set is a fun mix of great songs that are sure to please!

July 25 | Ethan Cash

Ethan Cash is an acoustic cover musician from southeastern Connecticut who covers decades of music from timeless classics of the 60s and 70s to modern day hits. He plays an eclectic mix of genres including rock, country, pop, R&B, and reggae.

August 22 | Nick Bosse

Nick Bosse, Nashville recording artist and singer-songwriter, writes emotional songs steeped in the traditions of his grandparents' music, expressing feelings you already have in your heart but can't find the words to say. Born and raised in southeastern Connecticut, he and his band The Northern Roots echo the foundations of America's country/southern rock/bluegrass legends with a sound built for today.

June 20 | Lincoln Foley Schofield

Lincoln Foley Schofield is an award winning singer/songwriter playing original story songs grounded in American roots music and spanning lifetimes in Key West, New York, and Nashville with sonic ranges from island and nautical culture to outlaw country and bluegrass pickin’ to the straight ahead rock 'n roll and hippie folk songs that Lincoln’s style was born out of.

August 1 | Tom Burgess

Tom Burgess plays high energy solo acoustic cover performances tailored to what the audience wants to hear.  Combining acoustic guitar with vocals, harmonica, and live loops, Tom creates a lively and ambient listening environment.

August 29 | James Harris

James Harris is a guitarist and vocalist with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in acoustic classic and modern rock and plays all over New England. For formal events he also plays classical guitar and has a large repertoire of popular, classical, and jazz songs.

June 27 | Andre & Eddie

Andre & Eddie play a wide range of great music. Soul and Motown, Classic Rock, Blues…you name it. Their music appeals to everyone, fun and festive!

August 8 | Tish Rabe and Friends

Tish Rabe and Friends is a popular quartet that performs jazz, contemporary country, and rock tunes in the Mystic, Connecticut, area and in New York City.

July 11 | Travis Hyll

Travis Hyll is a country/folk singer/songwriter born and raised in North Carolina, now making New London County his home. Travis showcases his southern soul and diverse musical background in his powerful performances.

August 15 | Anna May

Anna May shares alternative tragic Americana, invocations for peace, and judgment reshaping with bleeding heart, stream of consciousness poems.

Search
