Join us for an inspiring conversation with two-time Olympian Maggie Shea. Competing in the sport of sailing, specifically in the Women’s 49erFX class, Maggie’s journey took her from her roots in Wilmette, Illinois, to the world’s biggest stage in the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. From her early days at Connecticut College to racing in the Olympics, Maggie’s journey is a testament to perseverance, teamwork, and resilience. In this event, she’ll share her experiences of competing at the highest level, the challenges of sailing in elite international competitions, and the mental and physical dedication it takes to succeed.
