The Mystic Seaport Museum Magazine is published twice per year in the spring and the fall. Museum Members receive the magazine early in the mail. Copies are available for visitors at each Museum entrance.
The Fall/Winter 2025 issue of the Mystic Seaport Museum Magazine shares news from across the Museum, featuring a look back at the Museum’s resiliency in difficult times and a look ahead as we chart our course for the future. A special section highlights the Museum’s American Watercraft Collection and explores stories of adventure, resilience, and the enduring human spirit held by these historic boats.
The Spring/Summer 2025 issue of the Mystic Seaport Museum Magazine shares news from across the Museum, features on the American Institute for Maritime Studies and the new exhibition “Monstrous: Whaling and Its Colossal Impact,” as well as a special section on our Collections. The Museum is home to one of the most comprehensive collections of maritime artifacts, archives, and resources in the world. Now with more than two million objects, the Museum’s collections are a treasure trove for understanding the rich history of life on and around the sea.
The Fall/Winter 2024 issue of the Mystic Seaport Museum Magazine spotlights the Museum’s Education programs. Designed to engage and captivate children, teens, and adults, the programs offer authentic and immersive experiences that challenge learners of every age through individual classes both at the Museum and in schools, summer camps, and overnight programs. Also featured is the sustainable practices of local Sixpenny Oyster Farm and news from across the Museum!
