Like a community’s village green, this open space is used for activities, concerts, and simple recreation. The mast on the water side is used for a demonstration of the U.S. LifeSaving Service breeches buoy rescue drill in the warmer months.

Monday*–Thursday Collins Gallery in the Thompson Exhibition Building open. Remaining campus closed.
Friday–Sunday North campus, all exhibition galleries, and whaleship Charles W. Morgan open. Grounds close at 5:00 p.m.
*CLOSED JANUARY 19, MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY, AND FEBRUARY 16, PRESIDENTS’ DAY
South Entrance, Village, and Shipyard will reopen March 20. Ticket prices are reduced during this time.
