Mystic Seaport Museum will be the only North American venue for the exhibition, which will be on display October 2019-February 2020.
The award recognizes those individuals and organizations whose extraordinary achievements in the world of maritime exploration, competition, scholarship, and design best exemplify the American character.
The funds will support restoration of the L.A. Dunton fishing schooner and critical preservation work for the Rosenfeld Collection.
